Below are a series of links designed to help you get the information you need in order to take advantage of all the discounts and special promotions offered by the Postal Service, and to make sure you get the most out of your annual postage expense. 2015 USPS Promotional Calendar
From time to time, the USPS runs promotional discount postage rates to increase mail volumes in different classes and types of mail. According to the USPS, “The general intent of all promotions is to increase the value of transactional and direct mail and to retain or sustain its long-term growth. These promotions create excitement about mail, keep mail top-of-mind for marketers, reward innovative customers, and show customers we want their business.” Some of your mailings likely fall into one or more of these categories. There's also a page that offers you a quick glance of current promotions. Check out this website and download their annual Promotions Calendar to take advantage of these opportunities.

RIBBS National Customer Support
This site, designed to support business mailers, is a valuable resource for getting up to date information on topics affecting your mailings…such as Intelligent Mail Services, Move Update, Mail Service updates (in the event of severe weather or disasters). Simply scroll down the tabs at the left, and choose the topic you need to explore. There is also a tab that allows you to check for Recent Updates.

Quick Service Guides
An invaluable resource to quickly find answers for virtually all postal regulations, standards and definitions. It’s arranged by topic, so it is easy to find the topic you need to address. Most of these sections run 2-4 pages in length, and can be downloaded in either html or pdf format.

Business Mail Acceptance
This site will give you the opportunity to contact Mailpiece Design Analysts, locate BMEs, MERLIN report/appeal documents, the drop-ship checklist, access the Business Customer Gateway, as well as provide resources to address needs and resources regarding your BMA Gateway.

USPS Zip Code Lookup
A quick resource to determine the correct zip code and address format for your mail destination.

Service Standards and Maps
Offers the opportunity to check on expected service standards, and also allows you to download service  standards maps based on point of origin and destination. These are updated by the USPS quarterly.

USPS Forms and Publications
As the Postal Service says in the opening sentence on this page, “Every form and publication we offer can be found here”. Available for both viewing and download.

PostCom Daily Feed
Mailing news and updates from around the globe. Site provided by the Association for Postal Commerce (PostCom).

PostalNews.com
Daily e-news site managed by the postal employee unions. Includes internal USPS news and communications, links to articles about the Postal Service from news media around the country, and news of the Congress and PRC.

Postal Customer Council (PCC)
The Postal Customer Council program is a valuable resource for business mailers, large and small. Local PCCs serve as an open channel for USPS-to-business communication, providing information and best practices for cost-effective and profitable mailing, education and training, and solving local challenges.

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA)
The Direct Marketing Association website with information for members and the business public about mail and marketing. Includes event and seminar schedules and links to major conferences and exhibitions.
